Allan Downes

I started a thread at RMweb about my engine shed, and got a complimentary comment by Allan Downes. Back in the late seventies and early eighties Allan Downes wrote occasional articles for Railway Modeller, and the models he built were the best I had seen, so that comment means a lot to me.
